From the Missions Board
A large part of life at First Church is our mission of service and outreach, both to the community and the world.
Our Missions Board supports a multitude of organizations, both local and global, while our Special Grants Committee awards monies to various organizations and individuals in need. Below are some of our ongoing outreach ministries.
To the Community
- Donations to local food pantries
- Cook meals for local shut-ins and those who are ill
- Grants program
- Scholarships
- Support Hospice of the North Shore Beverly Hospital
- Chaplaincy Services Daybreak
- Wellspring in Gloucester
- HAWC in Salem
- Habitat for Humanity
- Gifts for Tewksbury Hospital residents
- Gifts to Boston City Mission Society
- Use of church building by a variety of community groups, including local scouting
