Peter Stewart shares these words and images with us during the forth week of Lent. He asks that we:

1. Stop what we are doing for a minute or two.

2. Read the scripture or saying and look at one of the photos of God's love for us.

3. Reflect on the hope we can bring into the world today!

...............

Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with God.
-Micah 6:8

Let me live in a home by the side of the road and be a friend.

It is not the achievements you will be remembered for,but the clarity and depth of your love towards God and your neighbors.
-G. Norbet

We emerge "in Christ" to share the labor and worship of the whole Christ, and in order to do this we must sacrifice our own superficial and private selves. The paradoxical fruit of this sacrifice of our trivial and "selfish" (or simply immature) selves is that we are then enabled to discover our deepest selves, in Christ.
