First Church in Wenham is an Open and Affirming congregation affiliated with the United Church of Christ; our roots are Congregational dating back to 1644. We are a family of some 625 adults and children gathered to love God and one another and to share our faith journeys. We have come to First Church from many backgrounds and traditions; diversity and inclusiveness are celebrated in this Church family. We are committed to loving each other as God loves us, freely and unconditionally. We welcome people of all gender identities and sexual orientations, races and ethnicities, mental and physical abilities, marital and socioeconomic status into the full life, ministry and leadership of our faith community.
